The kimchi here is generally quite old. But what bothers me is that the people who run the shop are of absolutely no help. I always get a non-response. The premiums charges by the shop are high. At least show some minimum level of interest when a customer is trying to get some help. It is a complete ripoff to buy kimchi here. This time I was forced because I am returning from a long trip. And without fail it ends up being horrendous. We have to cook with the damn thing because it has pretty much boiled over.

Okay only reason for the 4 stars is bcuz of the add on eat in restaurant. Great small intimate place for Korean ingredients. Clean and friendly too.

What a lovely store! They have all the best options for a market. I love the kimchi they have. Cannot wait to shop here more, friendly staff and very good prices! Open until 8:30pm. Go LOTTE MARKET! #shoplocal

My friend and I ate here at the food area, and we order ramen. The owner was talking smack about us in Korean. We understood it because we studied Korean in university. We were talking in English most of the time, so SHE THOUGHT IT WAS OKAY? to say “these girls need to hurry, and also I can’t wait for them to get out of here”. She said this loudly and clearly to her coworker in this snappy voice, and they both started laughing. This place is overpriced. Don’t spend your money here, other stores have better price for the same products. UPDATE: Yes, this is 100% the place this incident happened. It did not happen during this week. I stay confident with my statement.
